The point is to learn. To train crews and develop routines that can be used on future, more bad ass carriers. Remember, this is their first one but certainly not their last. The US carriers were not Nimitz class size and efficiency when they first saw the light of day.

@kake81: I suppose it depends on the config available to your region/retailer. There are versions available with usb 3.0 as well, but mine shipped with Win 7 Home Premium x32 and only USB 2.0 ports.

I've had this baby for 3 weeks now, and yes, it is def more powerful than your average netbook. Only thing my unit is missing is more RAM (only 2gb) and USB 3.0. and a 64bit OS. Other than those minor caveats, I'm very happy with the 1215n :)
