@Packy Anderson: However, downloading the nightly build for ARMv7 and opening it with Astro *did* allow it to install!

I downloaded it and tried installing on my HTC Incredible, but the installer says I'm out of space... which I'm not (1.69GB free on my CD card, 4.17GB free on my internal phone storage, 586MB free in my phone memory). I tried re-downloading the .apk, but it didn't change anything.

@Ryan Goldstein: Unfortunately, favicon caching is extremely aggressive on all browsers; there's no reason any of them would know to fetch a new copy of the favicon just because the clock has rolled past midnight since the last time it fetched it. So really, this isn't a feature Google can implement server-side. It

@Ross Bates: SWEET! I just printed out the list and I'm putting it in my wallet.

@farcedude: College students are (for better or worse) rarely considered "residents" of the town, even if they live off-campus. Most marketing directed toward them would happen though the campus.

@ihityouinthenose: I tried those steps, and they're not working for me yet, either. I'll wait and try over the weekend. Maybe it's part of a phased rollout.

I have this app, but I've never had any luck with a store being able to scan the bar code off my phone, so I just ask the cashier to type in the number (which is also plainly visible on-screen when I have the bar code up). I'm thinking about using the "One Card" maker highlighted here a while back to make a card with

Woo! Worked like a charm on my Incredible. Now I've got WiFi tethering for my wife's netbook!

Pandora's "Yoko Kanno" station.

I remember when I was a young teenager, I went on a whale watching trip with some folks from my local museum. There were doughnuts on the boat, so I gorged myself and fell asleep during the first sighting of the day. All the adults with their telephoto lenses used up all their film, thinking this was going to be the

I tried both my cell number and my Google Voice number. It correctly identified the cities and my cell carrier as Verizon (and it says Google gets my voice number through bandwidth.com), but in the name slot all it did was repeat the city for each number.

@kschang: Make that TWO extra AC ports, since it leaves one of the ports in the wall socket open as well.

I've got a Bluehost account, and they don't limit the amount of disk space you use, but they DO limit the number of files you can have. Considering I was trying to host a Gallery2-based site with a couple thousand images, I quickly exceeded the limit and had to move my site.

My question is: "What does it cost?" Sure, the download to your phone is free, but what's the cost for the service? The website didn't say (nor did it say it was free...)

I love how the suggestion that's highlighted is "Wear Pants"... yet the person in the picture is not wearing pants. :)
