I work with victims of abuse; I have never once been “titillated” by hearing an 8 year-old mention that he spreads his shit around the bathroom because that was the only thing that kept his dad from coming in there to molest him, or by a 19 year-old who had been trafficked casually explain how she uses sex to get her…
