Your right. The controls are frustratingly slow for a veteran. Im used to being able to scroll through stuff at lightning speeds. Still a great game and id say the best on ios.

The controls are not perfect. I honestly have a much easier time navigating with the dual shock but i have beaten that game upwards of 10 times so im not exactly a begginer.
