Interesting, I never felt that way. In fact, I loved season 1 and season 2 for that matter. Season 3 was on a whole other level altogether

Season 3 has almost 0 romance, and season 2 has some very great episodes on it. If you don't like the romance, just ignore it, everything else going on the sides is pretty awesome

The only thing I didn't like about Friends was how abruptly it ended the whole Joey/Rachel thing; after so much time building up to that, they destroy it over a laughter problem? There must have been better ways. Also, the whole Ross/Rachel thing got old by season 7.

At least I prefer it over ATLA; don't get me wrong, I loved ATLA, but I watched it when I was like 20 and once I finished it I switched over to Korra immediately and I loved it's XX century air, its characters and its storylines better than the previous series, possibly because I felt I could relate more to everything…
