Homeland is a hit for the network it is own, Showtime, and has grown season by season
That would be interesting, and could be really fun if developed well
Daenerys is a character from Game of Thrones. She looks like Lexie and also has magical powers- sort of. She is also a leader and she seeks to claim the iron throne, but as a whole she is a stand up woman who is trying to save as many people as she can.
Lexie is pretty much a copy of that made out of her from what I…
woops! I forgot it was Lexie xD. Two weeks since I dropped FS and I already changed names
I didn't pair Arrow with the rest of the CW croud; both The 100 and Arrow standout from The CW croud. I simply didn't mention Arrow because The 100 needs the recognition so much more
I mean that the show is completely different from anything else on The CW, it doesn't follows its typical pattern of romance taking stage center on the storytelling, but it rathers makes a compelling story telling where romance is only a side dish that is mostly ignored for the most part. It's also a show that changes…
the pilot is the only episode featuring voice-over, it doesn't happen again
Believe when I say it gets better and better; it gets more ambitious and improves on the way. If it is willing to, I can see the show reaching GoT's level of quality in upcoming seasons- that is if The CW exces lets the show run for that long and gives them a pass to be that good
I agree with this completely! The CW needs to embrace genre shows, it's working great for them so far (even Beauty and The Beast is profitable for them… somehow). I'd be happy to give a chance to every single one of their shows if they are genre shows
I adore The 100, I very much like Arrow and I liked Nikita, but aside from that I'm not much of a fan of the shows they have; I still have to check out Reign, but of the shows I've seen (The Vampire Diaries, The Tomorrow People, Beauty and The Beast, Hart of Dixie, among others) none of them really stand out for me
I must take the chance here to say this: The 100 is not a CW show, it just airs on The CW.
It is worth watching, it is by far one of the best drama premieres of the season, and it only gets better as it goes on.
If season 4 had been at least somewhat decent I'd be happy about Falling Skies renewal, but it has been beyond awful! I still may catch up- or at least tune in for the finale- but man… the show was never good, but at least it was somewhat entertaining and now is just… bland, boring and downright awful
I agree with this completely. On its first years Falling Skies had its moments and mostly managed to be somewhat enjoyable, but nowadays it just sucks. It changed everything and for the worse; they have a convoluted story arc, the characters make even less sense than before and let's not forget about that poorly…
Less and less every year, but the erosion is slow, that is why it got its final season renewal. At least it is ending, for its first 3 seasons it was at least somewhat entertaining, season 4 is beyond dreadful (seriously? The show turned Leslie into a poorly copy of Daenerys? The show can fuck it)
That's a lot of fucks to give when the best option is just not to give a single fuck
This model is only going to hold up for a little bit longer, viewers are watching fewer and fewer procedurials these days and big hits on early day go through extreme falls on the ratings on a year to year ratings. The shows that actually managed to trump that slide on the drama side (shows like Game of Thrones, The…
I think the reviewer was a bit short sighted when he wrote this review; this movie doesn't deepen on the themes of the first movie because it is way past them. It's not about Hiccup not being good enough to take on the title of chief anymore, the conflict with his father comes from him trying to understand who he…
Yep, Fridays at 10PM, a timeslot that has been very hard for NBC. The only show renewed there is the license cheap Hannibal, which delivers ratings on the range of 0.7-1.0
That's all I want in my life
Yes! And if Yahoo Screen becomes the savior of network cancelled shows (which I would be very happy with), I think these are some shows that are meant to come back:
-Pushing Daisies, FIRST AND FOREMOST! (They can somehow work out around some of the actors acting jobs like it was done in Arrested Development).
-Happy…
