Fuck. I have nothing. I know that "Hunger Games 2" was bad, but man, oh man. I am sad about this. Not my favorite actor or whatever, but man, wtf. First time that I heard about somebody famous dying and I think "must be a prank".

Dance Movie was not entirely awful.
No. Armond White likes good cinema, and hates cynicism. His defense of Adam Sandler is based on the humanism of his films, which is easy to see. I still maintain that the "GAY" movie of Hollywood is "I Now Pronounce You Chuck & Larry" and not "Brockeback Mountain".
The problem is not the film but the treatment given to every movie that could herald "the next thing". The system is in disarray, and TV nowadays gets the tasty portion of the cake (well, series at least, not TV). Problem is, as Armond White points out every time, that TV aesthetics are a regression from the…
It should be called the "Canadian Games".
As a sociologist, I think that "History of Diet" can be very interesting. "Sociology of Medicine" has been one of the main mind-openers of my years as a student, because it destroys so many concepts about what we commonly think about the rise on life expectancy at the beginning of the 20th Century (not drugs but……
What?!
C´mon, that was funny.
No, I don´t. In fact I love them. If they could be like The Mother, that is. Reality is a liiiitle bit different. The term MPDG (coined here) exists mainly because of the "dream" part. Movies are a way of sublimating desires. A MPDG is what many men desire. And that is why there are movies about them.
Nope, you are not. You see all those women? They´re all the same. Enjoy your night now.
You should, and watch them in order and zigzagging between both of them. By the time you reach the end of Angel S5, you will be on tears.
I think that In The Flesh was great, and I can´t hardly wait for the second series.
nothing to say.
OK, tell me about contemporary shows about contemporary men and relationships in the United States. Must be middle class men. Not about police, or a hospital, but relationships and life. "Men of a Certain Age"? Canceled.
So "Gay Girls", success. "Girl Girls", success. Where is the "Man´s Girls"? Ah, yes, it will be despised to oblivion, I forgot that telling tales in contemporary America about men is becoming taboo (Mad Men, the ´60s, Masters of Sex, 50-60s, etc).
C´mon, is a lot better than "Inception" and that movie was praised to Mars and back. It takes me back to the movies of Robert LePage.
It is time to retire "homoerotic" from any comment posted anywhere on the Internet (unless is gay porn, of course). It does not exist, is in your little perverted heads.
I have some questions regarding the use of aerial shots and its meaning in the movie, but it would qualify as a big SPOILER: Well, fuck it: why was the chopper not destroyed? It was just standing there. And how did he got to the prison without being detected? That said, the aerial shots were OK, so good job people!
It is surprisingly fun.
The Lone Ranger is a better movie than the main nominees I have seen, for sure better than "DiCaprio of Oscar Street" and (yes) "Hot Girl Voice loves Nerd - The Movie".
