Utopia has an amazing first episode, but I did not liked so much all the rest.  Still, good series, best sci-fi since Fringe.

Of course he is.  Every time Tennant and him are on-screen, I keep thinking when they´re going to break character and board the TARDIS (maybe when they solve the crime).

How can Kasper be in this episode if he is the start of "A Hijacking" and is being held in the boat with the Somalis?

At least you are not texting (Werner Herzog would be running after you).

I just realized that Mila Kunis is my dream girl.  Damn not being rich and famous!

You should watch some Doctor Who then.  Right on the second episode of NuWhu you get to watch The End of Earth.

Here in Argentina train drivers do the same,.  And also they sleep while driving, or read books:

Not a drive-in, but I miss those cheap matinée screens.  I remember my mother and I as a child going to one just because it was hot outside, and it had two movies I had not know nothing about beforehand (remember, this was before the Internet): the first one was "Jewel of the Nile", the second, "Indiana Jones and the

Wait, what?

Do people on that line of work believe their own shit? They must I guess, because how else would you belong to that club? Are there Marxists working in the world of casino finances?

The "last worker" scene was so poignant… Such a weird thing to see a country so advanced that they don´t have proletariat anymore (I guess they make lots of their stuff in other countries).

I´ll have a better idea after watching "Pain & Gain".  I heard that it is good.  About Snyder: bad or good, the guy is an "author".  Bay is more difficult to classify, but he is not an art director, he has a vision to share, that most film critics do not like, but he has one.

And amazing in "Dragonheart".  But well, "Dragonheart" is an amazing little movie.

I watched it today in a double bill with "I give it a Year", which is thematically similar.  I still have not decided which one of the movies is less realistic (both are completely outside the realm of real life).

I was utterly disgusted by the movie.  But of course, I am a hopeless romantic that believes in marriage and learning to love each other.  I mean, this idea of a "soulmate", of "the One", has done so much damage to the fabric of society as Coke  has done to the teeth of children and the health of the general

Kind of MPDGish in "Drinking Buddies", which tries to be a kind of "realistic look" at relationships and fails, because no dude ever would not try to fuck Olivia Wilde.  So there.

That´s hipsterism.  Both of them have a definite style, like it or not.  They´re not corporate bots.

Do I need to post this again?

Is that a name for a connected urban upper-middle class white woman? I´m not American, but it sounds like that.  Like calling your non-Russian daughter Lena.  Or those names Angelina Jolie makes.

And given that the best thing about the AVC is the comments, I guess I will stay here.  Also, gray background.  It is like the Dissolve people do not want me to read them.
