One of my mother in law’s specials is tongue Veracruz-style: she fries the tongue with some tomato, chiles serranos, jalapeños, onion, olives, and more delicious things. Then she transfers that to a pot and lets it slimmer for a couple of hours. Delicious.

That does sound awesome. We never had that kind of problem because the contractor’s office was outside of the main complex, on top of a hill used to storage scrap and maneuver heavy equipment. No one but us went there.

I had a job a few years back as a contractor at a huge factory. We had to go on weekends, even though we were not needed because most engineers didn’t work weekends. Some colleages and I would go to the contractor’s office and take a nap on the office chairs, feet over the desks.

I was riding with a friend, we were going to buy some CDs or something (it was 2008). I didn’t have an extra helmet, so I let him borrow mine. A truck skipped a stop sign on an intersection and we crashed.

I work in a technical center for CONDUMEX and Delphi as a software engineer for safety features on cars. It bugs me that many of my car-enthusiast colleagues just don’t see that what we’re developing is already changing the automotive world.
