That’s an Outback, not a Crosstrek. Might even be the Wilderness version.

It’s a 40-year-old car with 81000 miles. 2000 miles a year isn’t anything. I’d bet it went bad from sitting for an extended time.
The AMC I-6 engine is usually solid. Wonder why it needed replacement before 81K miles?
At some point no one built 20 scale A330s and 20 scale B787s to line up in various combinations at a scale model of the terminal - and those models could all be just 2D plan-view cutouts on a floor with some tape for the gate markings.
I know you’re Jalopnik’s #1 Tesla stan but even you have to admit the company isn’t exactly trustworthy. Especially considering how they lied about recordings remaining anonymous.
The interior of a Tesla belongs in a entry level car, so you’re just paying for the tech in most parts...
You know what other Tesla is due for a mid-cycle refresh? The Cybertruck. It is four years old already, and in need of a refresh.
Add in tax based on weight and we’re getting somewhere...
Yep. My hot take for the day: buyers who actually need a truck should be required to apply for a “work” designation for it. Otherwise, it’s classed as a “passenger truck” and regulated accordingly.
Honestly just making light trucks subject to the same standards as passenger cars would be a major win
For Cars there will be a massive crack down on buning dinos.
For light trucks there will be a minor crack down
For heavy trucks, there will be nothing much
Eh?
Seems like a decent enough car, but damn the seller seems insufferable. The attitude coupled with the annoying in-cabin mods are a turn-off to me.
Nice photos, but for an article that talks about the lines and the design, we sure didn’t get to see it in the photos.
Yeah I thought I was going crazy and scrolled up and down three times and can’t figure out really what the car looks like in the new design - from the show pictures it looks like any generic car. Maybe Subaru wouldn’t let them do full photos or something?
The choice of photos for this article was atrocious. Who decided on these angles and truncated shots? I still can’t actually tell what this car looks like.
I wholeheartedly believe this is one the best looking vehicles on sale right now in any segment. The car looks like a mix between a futuristic egg and a cyberpunk 993 Porsche 911. It is fantastic.
But can you get a full sheet of plywood in the back?
Those rims are excellent.
