I agree that CGV is one of the better tracks on the campaign. The venue is also pretty stellar....especially if you drop the $$ for a Hotel that’s hosting an event.

Bring back the Nordschleife.
You say this is a lot to pay for engine and aero, yet I doubt there is a single car that can match it for it’s price. If you count only European cars then you’d likely need to hit roughly double it’s price to find something competitive.
We can’t be sure they don’t still inexplicably die in this new segment.
that’s the best part. I bet if you cooked a good mac and cheese in muffin cups, no one would ever be sad again
I tend to skip directly to the lap to see where they came in on the big board and not watch the interview.
I’m glad they’re doing away with Celebrity Brain Crash and The American. They both got extremely old and repetitive after the first two episodes and to be honest I never liked Star In A Reasonably Priced Car either. I almost always skipped it because it felt like a filler to make the show longer.
F1 cars are light and nimble. NASCARs are heavy and not easy to turn (ponderous? doesn’t seem like the right word). Adding weight to the F1 car pushes it more towards NASCAR. (Source: Friend who drove Continental Tire Series)
After I hit 50 I realized life is short and I love cars, so why not experience ownership in as diverse and interesting a group of cars as you can.
Or members only jacket
Full adjustable Öhlins suspension = tech. More safety features than McAfee = tech. If the customer’s definition of tech is a touch screen, buy the Polestar, and iPad and a some double sided tape. Done.
So it has to be touchscreen for you to consider it tech? Only a moron wants a touchscreen in a car he’s supposed to be watching the road while driving. When autonomous cars become ubiquitous, I’ll agree, but until then I want my fucking knobs, buttons, and dials, thank you very much.
Once again I am required by law to be the voice of reason in a sea of the unreasonable. You want tech, 4 doors and fun? I’ve got this Volvo here for less than $50k and I mean look at it. Volvos in the Polestar guise garner as much attention as real life pole stars, if you catch my drift. Nothing says screaming midlife…
I saw this add i think over a month ago, i thought about offering my deering sierra, (a banjo y’all)which, to be honest, i am not able to play to its potential.
Ha, there is one around me that says BYEGAS and it just makes me want to replace them with plates that say BUYGAS.
As much as I like your idea - It actually is a bad idea. When you electrify a coiled cable you get induction. That can cause other issues you don’t really want to deal with. So the only way this would work is if you uncoiled the entire cable every single time. If it is a long cable - then it will probably be sitting…
or, you know, you could back in
“In my mind, Tesla’s core competency is their technology. And that 17-inch touchscreen is the embodiment of Tesla’s technological prowess.“
Tesla is still a car company in their infancy that is simply faking it til they make it. Nobody in their right mind with $80,000+ to spend should choose a Model S over something like the upcoming Porsche Mission E. When the Germans fully join the party its going to be game over for Tesla as an automobile manufacturer.
