Biting my nails a few hours ago-happy to see them into the big show. Racing may have taken a few steps towards a less racist future, but sexism? not so much. Thanks for this post!

God, isn’t that the truth.
“we associate cars with men—especially the heavy ones”.
I have many friends who are serious cyclists. Actual commuters, not hobbyists. They cycle for health reasons, or environmental concerns, or (in one case) they are not able to drive due to eyesight issues. Every one of them has had a serious (meaning hospital/broken things) accident where a car was at fault. One is…
Torch is the Hafei Lobo of the Jalopnik staff, and we love him for that.
Another case of rare ≠ valuable. An unpopular body style powered by a cancelled engine and DIY transmission, all with a lot of miles. ND
It’s either that or just run the whole series exclusively with Fanboost. This “American Idol” approach could work with F1 too, allowing fans to choose which drivers get to use the DRS. Nikita Mazepin would be in there with a chance!
Ferrari has been coasting for decades. In spite of every conceivable advantage (I mean, they have a whole damn race track across the street from the factory..), the best they can produce this year is another excuse. Surely they could offer their legion of supporters more than this.
She may not spend cash on the cars, but she will surely need it to pay her taxes. Each “trade” is a taxable transaction and yes, the state will figure this out when those cars are titled.
NASCAR races take 12 hours, 9 of which are spent behind the pace car. Yes there are many (meaningless) passes during a race. It is hard to overtake in F1, which is why every pass is a big deal. Both series could use some major improvements.
“I don’t see that, being very pragmatic and realistic, coming in the next two or three years but maybe after,”
I’m gonna be the contrarian today. This project took a relatively meh GM car and turned it into a genuine head turner (or head scratcher?). By purchasing this you would help to finance the seller’s next project, which I would like to see, whatever it is. It’s not “what-the-hell” money, but it’s not overpriced either.…
How dreadfully far has this former maker of lovely cars fallen in 30 years. NP
I kinda like it?
But those “incentive followers” (from your tone I assume you are an EV owner who did not not take advantage of any incentives) are exactly the consumers who, ideally, are converted to the joys of electricness. If “incentive followers” cannot be convinced, EV ownership will continue to be a quirky hobby for rich…
Volvos take the depreciation plunge quiet promptly. Check out CPO S60s if you are looking for safe and under 20K
What happens at these “over-rev events”? Are they only for PCA owners too?
Five years ago the competition for the title “World’s Dumbest SUV” was not as intense as it is now. Still, I believe BMW has a shot to claim greatness in this arena once again.
Fantastic! I hope they do a dirt race this season too!
Rampage! I couldn’t quite put my finger on where I had seen this before. Thanks (I think).
