I think some “supercars” are weirdly forgettable. I would nominate the DeTomaso Pantera:

Volvo C30. Torch reminded us all a few months ago:https://jalopnik.com/i-want-to-trade-my-4x4-for-something-with-gears-on-the-1845090538

In this era of dreary monotone production cars you should be happy you get any color at all on your race cars.

I’m not sure how this is possible, but I actually feel kinda “meh” about this whole car. Just like all compact SUVs look the same, all supercars look very, very similar-it’s just harder to get excited about yet another zillian HP ALMS racer.

Actual, original Dodge Power Wagons in reasonable shape can be had for less $$ than this (and look so much cooler!). You just posted this in hopes that Jalopnik brings back “crack pipe” instead of “No Dice” ?

Elio-is that you?

I believe former Jalop employee D Demuro once wrote that the only questions truck buyers ask are 1) Can you finance me? and 2) Is there a bigger one?

Your asking “why would Mercedes pay L. Hamilton all that money if he only goes a little faster?” Have I got that right?

Pondering law school=good. Actually going to law school: not so much. The whole idea is “OK I’ll do this shitty thing, but at least I’ll be able to afford rich-ass lawyer cars”. But the market for lawyers is not that good, and the work still sucks. No, I’m not a lawyer, just married to one (who has been very

You haven’t watched the news or read a paper in the last 20 years have you?

Force India?

“kick ass stereo with bt streaming, comfortable seats, manual air con, and analog gauges with a couple idiot lights. that setup has worked for nearly a 100 years. “ Um, which horseless carriage from the late 1920s had these features?

Just a few votes margin-this one’s heading for a recount!

Sincerely hope Grosjean is OK; the fact that he walked away is good news, but Mark Donahue was “OK” at the track too. This was awful -fuel cell, wheel tethers, steel barriers-it was like a condensed history of race car safety in reverse. Only the halo earned it’s keep today.

Racing Pointer. George Russel Terrier.

Most of the Germans are also “not particularly fun to drive”. Volvo’s reliability has been iffy of late, but they are lovely to look at and have some of the best interiors (which is part of the driving experience) in the biz.

That Audi is running Hoosier tires. Where is this event? Does Tire rack ship to Ukraine?

On some cars, yes. But even if looks were the most important factor bigger isn’t always better. Me, I live in pothole land (Minnesota) and I’m done with 20" wheels and rubber band tires. I’m also old-my first car was a 1977 VW Rabbit which came with 13" wheels. Which were totally big enough.
