Kinja webites only have a very few adjectives. Almost everything is “Insane” or Terrifying”.

It is disappointing to see a great driver stuck in an uncompetitive ride, but it is also kind of great. If this were NASCAR they would, in fact, adjust the rules so that the cars were more similar. This is a big part of what sucks about NASCAR- the whole “even the last place car gets a point” bullshit.

The “once in 500 years” thing isn’t simply “how many named storms can C83nonstop” google. It’s been at least 500 years since this part of Texas had a storm this big. Likewise with Sandy- when was the other time NYC had a storm like that? Up until Harvey, the US has been in a 12 year “drought” for big hurricanes…
