All the vehicles in these shows are great/ identifiable- Triumph Tiger Cub:

As of Saturday morning traffic is an “insane” green color on the linked google map. Great day for a drive from tampa to almost anyplace else!

Kinja webites only have a very few adjectives. Almost everything is “Insane” or Terrifying”.

It is disappointing to see a great driver stuck in an uncompetitive ride, but it is also kind of great. If this were NASCAR they would, in fact, adjust the rules so that the cars were more similar. This is a big part of what sucks about NASCAR- the whole “even the last place car gets a point” bullshit.

Even without the “spraying-flammable-liquid-on-fans-and-setting-them-on-fire” part, these events just look stupid. As if someone saw a drag race for the first time but was too impatient to wait for the race and figured that smoke was the point of the event, rather than the byproduct. Yes, young Jalops, I have grey

No- “The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil Pumkin Spice shit is for good men to do nothing.” ..or something. It’s not THAT tasty even when it’s in pumpkin pie. Stand up and be counted or we will face a future with pumpkin spice chicken mcnuggets and pumpkin spice lube, and that is a future I don’t want to

So you basically looked at consumer reports list of reliable cars upside down, correct?

Linkin Park?

“I want something less costly than a 2010 A6. My budget is $60,000". A window into a certain way of thinking, this.

“the quality of workmanship and the engineering that seems to be displayed here looks almost factory good.” Can you be more specific? Some Jalopnik readers may also be Fiat owners and would not normally associate words like “quality”, “Workmanship” “Engineering” and “good” with anything that came from a Fiat factory

“Jaunty”. The dictionary has picture of a Jeepster under the word jaunty (how would I know, I don’t have a dictionary). How many other Jaunty things can be had for this price? NP all day.

Make America Great for Wagons Again.

Not as a big a BMW fan as the average Jalop, but I admit that nearly all of them are a joy to drive. The folks who make them spend considerable effort to make them this way. This example seems to go in the other direction- CP.

deserves all the stars

I’m more of a model-car building guy, and modelers of scale cars will go out of their way to simulate the “overspray” on Detroit iron from the 70's

The “once in 500 years” thing isn’t simply “how many named storms can C83nonstop” google. It’s been at least 500 years since this part of Texas had a storm this big. Likewise with Sandy- when was the other time NYC had a storm like that? Up until Harvey, the US has been in a 12 year “drought” for big hurricanes

I bet Fancy Kristen matches her yachts..

I dunno- a car (even a cheap, reliable car) is not the best option when you are trying to be financially solvent again. Consider relocating to be closer to work and save a few more bucks. I know, I know LA = car, not bus. Hope this guys tough times are in the past.

Still miss my 2005 Legacy GT wagon; really a great car. That said, mine lasted until about 140,000 miles then the engine went. Dealer wanted about $7,000 just to start poking around. I’m not a mechanic and needed a car, not a project, so I said uncle and got rid of it. Still thinking this was a mistake.
