@minneyar: Didn't think of the physical thing, thanks I will give it a try tonight.

@vidhagans: I'll go back and grind a bit, thanks. I don't feel like I'm too low of a level, but it's so tough that maybe I am. I've tried the strategies above and can barely get a few turns in before dying usually.

@vidhagans: The guys around here were making fun of me for my pink Hanson-sticker-adorned DS, so they made me a pink avatar to match.

I'm stuck on the Golem Sisters in Chrono Trigger. Last night I managed to get one of them almost killed before my party died horrible deaths. What strategies did you folks use?

@iadagraca: As far as I know, the Play only runs PS1 games, not PSP games, just FYI.

Partway through the game I switched to the second notch after normal, Veteran I think, because it was just ridiculously easy. Seemed like the difficulty was definitely designed with a gamepad in mind. The final "boss" was like a 30 second fight for me.

Beat Mass Effect 2 (PC) last night. It was easier than I had expected, and the storyline was pretty straightforward, but I liked it a lot.

Yeah, I played Genesis quite a bit at a friend's house, but as for SNES I didn't really play much on it until recently. Now I'm going through Chrono Trigger, Super Mario World, and Link to the Past.

My consoles in chronological order -

I had never tried it before last week, just bought it on DS for $15 off Amazon. It's one of the best games I've ever played.

Bah, didn't even realize I could switch party members at the save point. Didn't know about the Masamune thing, thanks!

So bad.

New site gives me a headache!

I have been resisting buying Pirates! since the day it came out... I'm gonna have to look into it.

@Archaotic: You and I realize this. The mass market is more like, "It plays Angry Birds in THREEE DEEEE! Must-buy!"

@Irembrandt: This is exactly what I'm talking about.
