Here’s a gif with the shard laid over the image you provided, roughly lined up with the VOR at the bottom. It’s not an exact match (ie: the ridged area over the indicator is slightly higher) however, I think this discrepancy could potentially be explained by the fact that the photos were taken at different angles.
