I had two thoughts while watching this short:

Same thing could be said about life as a whole, you know.

Very true. Though I would argue that falls under my definition of Cloud Computing.

People pronounce it “ping”? I’ve never heard anyone say it, but if I did, I might have to slap them.

(sigh) A “Cloud” is any storage focused machine virtual or otherwise, usually remote, that stores information that can be accessed remotely through multiple devices simultaneously, and usually collaboratively.

I think this 300 patches thing was what Service Packs were supposed to help streamline — A Service Pack would contain a large number of patches in a single download. I think that after a new installation it would help if Windows Update would scan for the patches you need and just have the server download them as a

Windows strength is it’s great weakness: backward compatibility, uncontrolled dev environment. OSx regularly deprecates old components for security reasons and the application need to keep up to live in that ecosystem. Windows might still be able to run that DOS based app from 1998 that accounting just has to have. So

What I hate is that after a Windows version gets a few years old, you need to DL and install hundereds of update files. Apple gathers them together from time to time and allows you to just DL ONE update file. Windows 7 is insane to install cleanly, then take HOURS and HOURS to DL and install nearly 300 patches.

True, but big enough to cause an ELE? yes

Oh, but I kinda liked it when it was called “Ghostwatch”

As she regularly points out, romance is where it sells best, and she’s not inclined to argue, even if it’s considerably more than that.

I’m not saying that means it’s good, just that renewal was pretty much a no-brainer.

Thank you for saying this.

And yet, more males than females, storyline less interesting for girls... Breadcrumbs instead of bread!

Google and Microsoft, as well as any other phone/computer manufacturer, do literally the exact same things. At least one has come forward with trying to end the shitty stuff happening there (probably not the one you're championing by the way).

both other companies do the same.

I believe Gavin was pretty respectful in teaching the author an interesting fact, and I also believe that it's ironic that you called someone else a douche when you're the only one here acting like one.
