Windows strength is it’s great weakness: backward compatibility, uncontrolled dev environment. OSx regularly deprecates old components for security reasons and the application need to keep up to live in that ecosystem. Apple gathers them together from time to time and allows you to just DL ONE update file. Windows 7 is insane to install cleanly, then take HOURS and HOURS to DL and install nearly 300 patches.…
