My sincere hope is the site is not just back but returns to some of the former quality and insight that made it a an outsized-pop culture staple. Frankly the site had been in decline for years before its shuttering. I don’t mean to shit on you or any other writers who, I gather, have been working under less-than-ideal…
And so is the comment section! Hurray!
Gizmo dropping an F bomb was perfect.
Started a little uneven but MAN that payoff. Not just the entire goddamn news broadcast, but the end gag of Guillermo in the trap corridor.
Puppy parade!!!
No, you’re not alone, I also found it hilarious. It was so frantic, I watched it twice to make sure I didn’t miss anything.
You’re not alone. It was hysterical.
No I agree with you 100%. This was up there with Baron’s Night Out. I was laughing as hard at this as I did when Baron vomited pizza and flew around backwards.
I don’t know what show you guys were watching, I was dying. The whole out of control sight gags of them getting ready for the ensuing hordes of townspeople who never show up, Nandor going back out over and over to either hypnotize the tv audience, or over explain something no one even cared about.
I thought this episode was hilarious. It’s all over the place, and that’s ok. Lazlo at the sports desk had me cracking up. Nandor De Laurentitis? I mean, come on. That’s good.
I loved the building hilarity of the vampires continuing to make everything worse every time they tried to fix what they thought was the previous calamity though it does make me wonder how our beloved idiots did manage to survive this long. Hypnosis, which is a running undercurrent of the season, can only get you so…
We’ve found out how to save local news. Just have vampires host.
You have to learn to play whack-a-mole with your ad blocker’s settings.
OK, I JUST realized that “Evie” is “EV”, emotional vampire. Unless this was explicit in S1?
She did hear the last words of the biker she stabbed in the eye. There is literary tradition, I think, of a person’s shadow following them. Ok, that may be a reach. How did the guy lock her in the bedroom and how did she escape? Did we see her removing an obstacle from the door? Who would do this? Bevel? I guess he…
They managed to turn Roman from one of my favorite characters to my most hated. This isn’t a dig on the show. I’m just unhappy I fell for the trap of them humanizing him.
Kendall’s not smart, though. We’ve seen him crash headfirst into a disaster over and over again only to get bailed out and pandered to.
I think this may be the episode that jumped the shark.
How is it silly when you have guys like Elon Musk and Adam Neumann in real life acting that way, if not worse?
