Part of me agrees with you. The other part cynically suspects it wouldn’t matter.

They also provided a ton of evidence through direct quotes to show that Fox News definitely presents itself as a news organisation to it’s audience.
Yep, if anything it shows Dominion is utterly and rightly pissed off and not going to allow them to throw a check at them. This is a hold the feet to the fire moment.
It was kind of anemic to be honest. With that writer and cast I was expecting a lot more out of it.
Will it be canon tho? And if so will it take place before or after Jesse Pinkman sells Creed drugs at Dunder Mifflin?
Yes, there were a few points.
Though he biffed those, the way he went out at the end was actually slightly redemptive. It was far too late to make much right, but he did own his bullshit and stop making excuses before taking out a bunch of bad guys.
It’s good enough for me.
He did already do Walter for an Esurance commercial in 2015 (though I think he’s never named in the commercial). Kinda would love him to pull a reverse Ernest and appear as Walter White for any old commercial, national or regional, to the extent that people forgot his origin as a dramatic character.

I was 9 when it first started up, and I just remember every Monday all me and my friends would talk about was that weekend’s ILC episode. That and Simpsons were appointment TV for my crew.
The sad fact of this story is that onlookers enforce the respect of birth privileges, chanting “ LET HER IN!” . Celebrity culture sure does help aristocracy endure.
I remember watching this.
I appreciated that this episode gave us a quick review (through two people’s eyes) of the time that elapsed between the infection flare up and present day. The pilot necessarily fast forwarded through that, so it was nice to get that retroactive world building.
-It’s amazing to me that an episode like this would be so well executed on a show adapted from a survival horror video game.
Good recap - but did this have to be in it -
Had a lightbulb moment this morning when Joel was sharing the timeline of infection events, harking back to Ep1. He said the cordyceps were likely spread via globally distributed/consumed food stuffs. He was supposed to pick up a birthday cake on his way home from work, but forgot. Joel & Family easily could’ve been…
