This is nothing more than BMW selling its soul for additional sales. Why? Because BMW already competes directly with the CLA and the A3—BMW has Mini.

Point me to another new car that gives you 400 horses and 400 lb/ft torque for approximately $50 grand. I’ll be waiting a while, but I’ll wait.

The internet is talking about this going for more then an RS and you have you have a 918 just to get one.

Would have been helpful if they were sold in the US. Europe still gets the unicorns.

I’d be interested to see if the people who bought V8 Explorers in 1999 would be more willing to buy an Escape or an Explorer now. Sure, on the outside the old Explorer and the new Escape might be similarly sized, but the old Explorer has more interior space.

Glad to see that the Volvo 850 is on the list. The Turbo and T5 cars (when maintained...) are super fun, too.

Nine years in a Ford service department has shown me that you can start as a Quicklane Ford tech and move to being whatever kind of tech you want to be as long as you do Ford’s training, which is “free” to you (it doesn’t cost anything, but they don’t pay you to take it and you miss out on work).

Designer 1: “Oh man, we forgot the center stack vents!!”

But drive the thing and all of a sudden you’re Shallow Hal discovering the majesty of inner beauty.

Hahahaha Oh my god... this is me in highschool. My first car was a 944 and it was gold! I also did a lot of sitting around wondering why I loved that car so much... it was very much a love/hate relationship.

Automatic 928/944/968 = travesty.

Old people often say “they just don’t make them like they used to”, and I want to smack them for it because they’re usually wrong. But this time, they’re right.

That gif is perfect for how I felt too!

I had no idea they put a V8 in those things. Makes since I guess as the Monte Carlo had a V8 option and it was on the same platform as the Grand Prix.

I totally understand. I worked at a Ford dealer for 9 years and when people know you’ve been around cars that long, they use you as their personal Google for anything related to cars.

M Coupe V2.0. Yes please.

No, it’s not. As an adult, I’ll take the factory option.

17 - you’re probably right.

If I were rich and wanted a GT coupe, this would definitely be the one.

If this does mean Toyota can import the Hilux here, it doesn’t mean they will. If they thought they could turn a profit in the US truck market with the Hilux, we would already have them.
