Except for you dont often see ESPN articles crosslinked on Disney.com pages. As is the practice here when Deadspin / Kotaku / Gizmodo share and reblog articles.

Thats rubbish, the people who ARN’T super into League dont give a shit about the score, those of us who ARE want to watch it when we can, then will come back to read your analysis about the match. You are catering to those who wouldn’t give your articles more than a brief glance or not look past the headline at all.

Noone is saying don’t report on them, but you CAN control what you write in the preview and headline so while still doing your job in a timely manner, the rest of us who are not able to catch up intime, but still from time to time surf kotaku wont have the result ruined by a headline and byline. I mean id rather just

This is a good post, I like this post. Garande was my weapon of choice in the old call of dutys. So satisfying to shoot with, and took a level of skill to not have to have your clip be reloaded at the start of the fight. Ammo management! The noise is forever stuck in my head. 10/10 would use again.

These shirts work amazing if your dog is hyper to the max when friends come over, my mom put hers on her basset hound and he would just chill out and accept all the pets because he was a basset hound. 10/10 would buy again

I think he was playing more to his base, young motivated democrats who didnt live through The Vietnam War. Also you could argue that in terms of overall clusterfuck and long term destablization of the region that the second Iraq war was a bigger blunder

Just sharing my thoughts.

Probably going to be an increased focus on ganking the heck out of him. The more time he spends dead the less exp he can deliver to his teammates. Also when he dies he should maybe lose a % of the exp stored, that may help balance it out a tad.

DOTA has skins?

So there’s that.

Well thank you for proving my point, this coverage should no longer be on Kotaku. Glad we see eye to eye. Your condesending tone is duly noted.

Well thats one of the things that makes Riots worlds championship great, they host the VoDs of each match spoiler free on their webpage. You know, for those of us that cant get up early and watch them live. Also Kotaku is not a sports webpage, so I should reasonably think I can look at their news without seeing the

I’d like to apologize for not being clear in my comment, through some discussion a better way to have stated my complaint is to say “Please keep results out of titles and first paragraphs so spoilers dont happen” I suggested this on another post you made last week (below) but I am happy that my ham fisted comment lead

Here is the evidence that I indeed did suggest this earlier in the week! Unfortunately I am still grey :( Trying hard to fix that!

You’re right, it was more of a “COME THE FUCK ON” comment than an actual suggestion on how to fix the problem, in the future I wont post ham fisted comments. I did however post in another comment when Yannick told us he was reporting on worlds daily, suggest the he keep spoilers out of the headline and first paragraph

I care about worlds, I just don’t care enough to get up at 4am, I’d rather watch the VoDs once the day is over and still be able to read Deadspin and Kotaku at work without having the headline give it away.

There is a difference between reporting on the ongoing games, and putting the results in the headline. I don’t want them to not report on it, just keep it out of the headline. So if I take a break from work and want to read up on the specs my computer needs for Fallout 4, and as im browsing to that article, I dont

People spoiler tag all kinds of things related to sports, there is nothing wrong with asking the primary writer for Esports on Kotaku to try to make sure he doesn’t show results in the headlines.

Just keep the results out of the headline and first paragraph to prevent Kinja from auto previewing it. I appreciate the reporting you have been doing on Esports and I have enjoyed most of your posts.
