Well the 3rz is 150 hp stock, does not sound like much but think about it it’s a 50% power gain over your 22r. Plus its got 16 valves so it takes very well to an lce hot cam or turbo/supercharger. Big bonus too is that you will have OBDII for future troubleshooting. It bolts to the factory “G” and “W” series…

The proper swap is 22r/e to 3rz minimal fitment issues...If you want v6 you can swap in the 5vz needs a hood mod or a body lift. The cummins fits but it ruins the truck with weight. You can go LS and 350 but its overkill and much fabrication. the 2nd gen pickups run nicely with the 3rz
