10 years into my marriage, Tempted came on the radio. I belted it out. The wife looked at me, confused, and said she’d never heard of Squeeze. Alas, we had 2 kids already and divorce was not an option.

Squeeze is criminally underrated.

Casket Lottery! One of my first (only) times seeing a houseshow in Milwaukee’s Riverwest (Bremen House, c. July 99). This is making me feel old.

He wrote his own eulogy in Lazarus. I am happy I lived during his lifetime. David Bowie has been at the top of my playlist since I first discovered music. When Blackstar was released, I thought he had yet again evolved. Turns out he has. Peace to his family, friends, and fans.

David Bowie and Marc Bolan are probably my two favorite musicians of all time. Today was an emotional day. Let’s celebrate the amazing volumes of work he left behind.

RIP The Thin White Duke

I did. I mainly did because I was planning on buying the new album sometime this week and so I was listening to all the 90s albums (they are so strange and weird and what alternative should really be) in celebrations.

I hope Freddie & David are making out to amuse God, because God is just like us, yall.
