As a lil shaver, this is the first song I remember hearing. I was around 2-3 and we lived in TN, near Smokey Mtns. Nat Park. The music of CCR seemed perfect for our surroundings, and when I heard them, living in WI, the band’s sound almost seemed out of place.

I lived there 5 years. I’d love to go back. Luckily I had a lot of friends around. Anyway, this song always made me think of Alaska and brings a smile to my face.

Was at the local art museum yesterday evening and couldn’t help thinking of the New Bomb Turks Born Toulouse-Lautrec.

That intro will be my new ringtone.
