I was SO happy for all the awards love for Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri which was one of the best movies with the best acting I’ve seen in years. However, I was a little disappointed to see Get Out get overlooked.

No one anywhere claimed that the Russians cared about black people in the US or anywhere else. They are, as they often do, calling out American hypocrisy. That hypocrisy is real no matter how much you hate the messenger, and no matter how much you want a false good guy vs. bad guy dichotomy.
