Yes! This! I'm about to fill up a small grid Moleskine, but I've been thinking about revamping my system with Cahiers for to do lists/checklists only and then moving notes to a separate, bigger notebook. This does make me slow down paper consumption by a lot.

Or, if you're like me and you obsessively browse the web at work to the point of "I should probably be fired for this," having your to do list as the first and basically only thing you see in a new browser tab is especially nice.

This discussion has actually inspired me to grab Field Notes, and I'm a regular Moleskine devotee. As a dancer, it'd be nice to have a lightweight notebook in my pocket that doesn't intrude on movement, and that I can whip out in class to jot down a note or two.

Oh yeah! I ran a 4e D&D game a few years ago with one guy I'd never before who lived several states away (he was friends with someone in our group). So my group got together in one place, table, maps, and all, and we Skyped him in. Worked out perfectly.

Nope, we all just gather on our own screens and play like we're sitting at a table with each other. It's nice because I don't have to worry about hosting folks, ordering pizza, and wondering if I have enough Mountain Dew to satisfy everyone.

There's actually a couple G+ apps that help facilitate the experience. Roll20 helps with dice rolling support for some games. But most folks doing this have their own dice and we're honest folk.

Super geeky, but I actually use Hangouts for playing tabletop RPGs. It's amazing.

Never, and the fact actually upsets me. The last time I visited a library was when I was still in college. I haven't found a particular use for one lately. I love being surrounded by books and the sort of studious feeling you get being in a library, but I simply have no current need to go to one.

Mmm, true. That's a good strategy. I also write for a 250-word minimum every day, which has been a largely unbroken streak since the beginning of the year, so hooray for that. I guess small steps are better than no steps at all.

I think this is why flossing is actually an easy habit to pick up, if you think about it this way. If you already brush every day without thinking about it, you might as well tack on the flossing thing. At least, it's been one of the easier habits for me to pick up lately.
