I thought it was a perfect ending at the time because it was only one film and horror movies get to have unhappy endings. The whole backpedaling thing for the sequel ruined it in retrospect though.
If this is true then it’s infuriating. I would much rather pay for a battery replacement once a year (even directly from Apple) than lose any performance whatsoever. I’ve kept my iPhone 7 on 10.1 just to keep it running faster and if it’s still being throttled then I feel like an idiot.
