The developers that had their private information leaked all over the internet will be so glad about your take defending criminals.

So in the regards of any future plans, titles, and such being leaked, I say “you reap what you sow.”

I’ve always believed that being able to just make whatever you want with whoever you want is the ideal end-state for any creative. It’s an immense privilege to have the reputation and money to do that. Hideki Kamiya is one of the rare few who will ever manage to earn that privilege and I hope he exploits it to the

Drop a million dollars in my lap and I might be able to retire a few years early. Drop a billion dollars in my lap, and I can live like a king for 500 years. There is absolutely no use for a billion dollars except for taking food out of the mouths of millions of people. It’s not enough for them to be rich - others

While I would love an FFT remake, it’s also a game I’ve replayed over a dozen times since I first got it on release. I appreciate a lot of these remasters and remakes, but after finishing a few of them it would be nice if some of them had an Arrange Mode for freaks like me who already know the game backwards and

It’ll be an adults-only game and you’ll still have 11 year olds on the mic constantly while online

I don’t know that I’ve ever forgotten a show existed after watching it as hard as this one. I read the headline and thought “what? they’re on season five.”

It is the difference of fans making them vs corporations using them for marketing. One is fun but the other is cynical.

Truly we have achieved Video Game: The Video Game.

Geez, Brian, this is almost as crazy as that one time Quagmire found out love can bloom on a battlefield.

I have never played fortnite, but I actually really enjoy all the random skins. It harkens back to playing Half-Life 1 DM with server-mods and being able to pick to play as the powerpuff girls, or random characters, which was always fun.

The game’s level loading/streaming tech would have needed to be finished before levels could go into full production

This is especially interesting to me because L4D2 absolutely stands the test of time, while L4D1 is fun, but feels a little aged. Imagine how many minds L4D could have blown if it was released in it’s ultimate-powered-up state

More like “The legal situation existing for decades is weird”.

Nintendo used to have this feature, right? I remember someone gifted me the NES TMNT game on the Wii Virtual Console, and my brother got me one of the Shantae games.

It’s a new development in that it seems to have come back after a long absence for whatever reason. Licensed shovelware games were mostly banished to mobile, it felt like. Why are they coming back to PC and console?

Is... Is Sony trying to patent savestates? A feature that’s been in emulators for like 2 decades?

Timely news, especially after the exodus from The Escapist the other day.

tbh to get the kind of market share that they’d need to make it a serious competitor, it’s not surprising they have to bleed cash for a long time — that’s partially why there’s so little competition, only gigantic companies like Epic can afford it!

I hope they stick around. I worry about the dark days after Gabe leaves Valve. His leadership has been super consumer 1st. A money hungry CEO could ruin Steam in no time.
