Honestly it’s bizarre that they thought splitting this season into two parts would work out for them. The second half is one exciting episode and then a bunch of slow setup. Generally the “split a season in half” strategy only works if you make them feel like two mini-seasons with an engaging story in both halves and

Honestly? Probably on the next Nintendo system.

Blanka, Dan and Sakura have been a thing since Street Fighter IV and maybe even as far back as the Alphas (I can’t remember.)

I keep oscillating back and forth between it being a bit too cute or silly fun, but I’m leaning more towards to silly fun.

Oh yeah I heard about that. I’ll keep that in mind.

It’s very funny to me that the meme format using this image has become immeasurably more popular than the show it came from.

This looks great and I’m gonna have to try it.

They’re just gals being pals.

God I’m so used to every other article discussing the MCU that when I scrolled past this I thought it was a Skrull from Secret Invasion.

Agreed, though I also think a lot of that was done ONLY because they were so far behind their competition.

I’m a fan of Aunt Robin in all her forms, even if her appearances in the MCU amounted to “Uh, anybody want to do anything with this character???”

That was my reading of it and after watching the trailer it sure as hell looks like it’s mostly CGI so I dunno.

Jeez this poor guy only ever wanted to start a burger business and now that it’s gotten big this happens to him. Well, at least he’s got that up-and-coming streaming career to fall back on.

Yeah I think if they don’t support Switch BC it’ll be like shooting themselves in the foot but if they don’t carry over the NSO apps with the full available library to the next system on day 1 it’ll be like shooting themselves in both feet and also pratfalling down a well.

Wasn’t that because it literally had PS2 hardware inside of it (similar to the Nintendo solutions that Hadrian brought up above)?

And the Switch didn’t support Wii U (even digital games) and nothing before the Wii had backwards compatibility support. If we narrow it down further to digital license transfer things start getting pretty unfriendly to users pretty fast.

Because the only time their consoles were backwards compatible was the GCN to Wii transition and the Wii to Wii U transition. They four transitions before that and the Wii U to Switch transition had no backwards compatibility support.

Yeah, I remember the Playstation having a lot of charm and what I did enjoy what little I played of it but I need to try the re-release. I was telling somebody else that I’m pretty sure I already picked up the PSP version when Sony was threatening to shut down the PSN store for those consoles so it’s just a matter of

Yeah I’m pretty sure I actually own the PSP version but haven’t played it. (If I remember correctly I picked it up when there was news that the PSP store was going to be shut down.)

I agree that Final Fantasy Tactics does feel a bit like a once-in-a-lifetime fluke, but I do remember Tactics Ogre also being pretty good, albeit slightly more frustrating than FFT.
