It’s ultimately a small thing but yeah one of my least favorite things in superhero media these days (especially the MCU) is how everybody has these magical suits / masks that just materialize over them.

Y’know, if Microsoft gives Vicarious Visions their name back and assigns them Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4, I’ll still think this is a dangerous deal for the industry at large but I’ll at least be able to play another good Tony Hawk game.
I was gonna ask “Oh jeez, what has Raven been up to all these years?” but then I checked and was reminded, “Oh yeah... Call of Duty support, just like every other Activision studio.”
I’ve always been less concerned about this on the terms of Microsoft establishing a monopoly and more concerned about what it means for so many longstanding companies with beloved IP now living with Microsoft. Beyond that, if this leads to more significant acquisitions in the game space, things start looking even more…
See, I fully agree this is gonna be bad for the industry in the long-term, but I also don’t think Microsoft has any reason to make the major Activision games console exclusives anytime soon.
....okay, but aren’t most Bethesda games still pretty niche (at least in terms of sales)? Outside of Elder Scrolls, Fallout and Doom, have any of their big games sold huge numbers in the last 5 or 10 years?

Well that sucks!

Jeez, the N64 game was really released two years after the original film? I didn’t remember that.
Unions in the video game industry aren’t as common as in other industries, like film or manufacturing, but that has started to change in recent years. First, QA testers at Call of Duty studio Raven Software unionized, followed by testers at BioWare, Blizzard, and Bethesda. Developers at Proletariat Studio previously…
Aw fuck. So long, Luke. Good luck on whatever's next.
Then somebody should fire them so they stop trying to do so
So wait what are the major differences between the Evercade handheld and this? Is it just that this has a different form factor and has games bundled with it?
I admittedly have no real love for Karateka (I don’t think I’ve ever played it) but the project looks awesome and having read some of Jordan Mechner’s writings I imagine the additional documentary features will be really interesting to watch and read through.
Yeah with the “Legacy” subtitle and the Authority showing up and now all these Justice Leaguers, it feels like there’s a lot going on for what should be a “early-in-his-career” Superman story.
