I’m probably going to get both but YEAH that Zelda one looks great.

There’s nothing preventing anybody from making a game that runs on a Game Boy in 2023. Nintendo can’t really take somebody to court for building a game that runs on an out-of-print hardware spec from 34 years ago.

Yeah, agreed. It’s a shame; since we’re not getting any DLC for Infinite, I was hoping we’d at least see some sort of ongoing narrative with multiplayer but I guess that’s been cancelled as well.

Oh whoops, yeah I mixed it up with the animated adaptation of The Killing Joke, which featured the DCAU cast and featured Batman and Batgirl sleeping together but was only produced by Bruce Timm.

I mean, this is arguably similar to what they did with Halo 4's Spartan Ops mode, which I was very engaged with at the time. Granted, those episodes released weekly and even then it never sounded like that mode was popular enough to finance a second season, but I still enjoyed them.

Oh jeez that’s a bummer. I actually enjoyed those cutscenes.

As uneven as a few of those Agents of SHIELD seasons are I’ve been really tempted to give it a rewatch. My wife started watching with me in the last couple seasons so we’ve been talking about starting over at the beginning.

There was an early rumor that Secret Invasion was going to introduce their own version of Daisy with a new actress. My assumption is neither version of Daisy will show up but at the same time I’m also guessing that if she did appear, it would not be the Agents of SHIELD version. It’s been so long since that show was

I mean... Coulson died. Robo-Coulson is still out there somewhere, I guess.

I mean, in the recentish Batman & Harley Quinn movie (that is arguably part of the DCAU), I seem to recall that Batman hooks up with Harley Quinn, so uh... having Batman hook up with people nobody wants to see him get involved with definitely seems to be a trend in Bruce Timm works.

I mean you’re right about why Disney does these risk-averse remakes and sequels but also comparing Lion King to Turning Red is a weird comparison to make.

Yeah, I mean, I saw the first two and didn’t think much of them but then randomly watched the third one and had a lot of fun. Then the fourth one also surprised me. When the fifth one came out I realized I was a fan of these movies and I gotta admit that realization really snuck up on me.

Yeah, honestly the fact that they’re giving him super powers doesn’t bug me that much. Lots of characters get changed when they’re adapted to movies and sometimes it works (and sometimes it doesn’t). For me it’s just... y’know, everything else looks bad? Yeah, everything else looks bad.

It will never not be funny that Sony released Morbius in theaters a second time based on misinterpreting why people were making fun of it online.

Man I don’t even care about Morbius when he’s fighting Spider-Man. Heck, most of my interest in Kraven these days is due to his portrayal in Unbeatable Squirrel Girl and there’s no way that’s the direction they’re gonna take the character in the movies.

Yeah I really wish Nintendo’s games supported custom button setups.

Yeah I had a brain fart there. To be fair, I also didn’t ready much on this guy or his deal and was only familiar with it in passing.

Okay yeah that makes a lot of sense and I feel kinda silly for not assuming that was the case in the first place.

X was the last mainline Pokemon game I played through and I remember enjoying it quite a bit. Just seeing the artwork on top made me want to revisit the main city.

I don’t think anybody disagrees that many (most?) major AAA games are severely lacking in diverse leadership or even input, but that doesn’t mean Keighley and the Game Awards can’t make some kind of effort.
