Back when I used to play games (and have friends LOL) , I liked to play games where I could have a partner that I could play together with in-person on split-screen, etc.

I see. I haven't had TV service in years, so I figure I would have a lot of TV shows to watch with The Netflix. It would be great to watch on my Xbox if I still had it, but I'll have to settle for Wii or PC or DVD access for now.

I don't have a PS3. I have a Wii though, so I would be interested to know what it's like on that...

I was thinking of finally biting the bullet (or whatever the hell that old idiom is trying to convey) and get The Netflix. Should I do it?

Cartoon holds a (negative) connotation of being something for children. The same as "comic book". Older people often use the term cartoon, which usually shows they expect it to be for children; they often don't understand that animation is a medium that can be used for serious drama too.
