Can’t wait for one of these to hit NPCP: “Will this Mahindra Roxor your Soxor?”

I mean was the Mark IV Supra even a success? As I recall, in the USA, nobody wanted to pay that much money for a Toyota. They became tuner cars because they depreciated hard.
never made it to North America
The Peugeot 1007 was powered by engines that made 75 horsepower or so. A more “American” 140 horsepower would probably make for a very different experience.
I remember the original Neon concept and the doors were definitely the coolest thing for me. I still, for the life of me, cannot understand why four pillar-less sliding doors are NOT the standard for non-sports-cars.
Hydropneumatic suspension on a luxury crossover. The Lexus RX is dead.
Hats off to this guy. He’s lucky enough to have a car he can dedicate to a very particular purpose, and built it for that purpose.
In my case, it’s more like a half-hour each day in total travel time difference. Still, once I factor in the modest exercise (It’s an uphill walk to the station/bus stop for me) and the chance to do a bit of reading on the way, I come out ahead. I couldn’t read while I was driving.
I never liked these. They looked like box turtles to me.
Ah, now that would be ideal! Public transit access AND garage/workshop space! That’s my dream.
oh, in terms of door-to-door speed, driving still crushes the bus or the train for me. The problem is that parking at work is horrendously expensive— about $250/month when I cancelled my monthly parking pass.
ah, but cycling on a city street, that’s actually kind of fun! Being fast enough in traffic to overtake cars on the left will never get old.
I think the most interesting thing is how it re-wires my sense of place. There are lots of places that were less accessible when I was driving (because of the parking and/or drinking problem) that are suddenly more accessible when I don’t drive. Places that I hated driving to that are transit-accessible are now a lot…
To be honest, this is already my life right now. I’ve moved into a denser part of my city. It has made me seriously question whether I need my car. I commute to work by bus or train (or sometimes on foot, when the weather is nice). Most of my shopping needs are met in my own neighborhood. I can go out and have more…
You set off on a long road trip. Fifteen minutes before you get to where you’re going, the car breaks down.
The Mazda 3's cluster is a cleaner, prettier version of the instrument cluster of the FR-S.
I heeded this advice, and I’ve bought two (!) naturally-aspirated performance cars in the past 3 years: a Scion FRS. And, when a Honda Odyssey driver T-boned that to the great track in the sky, I went and got a 2017 Mustang GT.

A targa 86 might bring me right back to that platform
