I truly miss Far Cry 2. It felt gritty and brutish and real... which is why it still resonates with me to this day. Excellent article, Heather.

Apparently, Star Wars and Firefly had a baby? Sold.

Benny Hill action never gets old

The Mimic is a call back to the first edition of Dungeons & Dragons - both in appearance and function. It was one of those silly monsters most players (and DMs) ignored and/or mocked.

Daaaamn, I think I’d like it more if they made this into an actual movie XD

Oh wow! Did not know that. Thank you :-)

Someone needs to put Rick down. For the good of all. There is a certain point when the hero can no longer be redeemed and I believe we’ve hurtled over that line. Even Morgan (hallucinations and all) seems more stable at this point.

I’m thinking the case became tentative when the word ‘actress’ was cited as a comparison between the two.

I’m a horror writer and pretty hardened to most things, but Butcher’s Block actually made me nauseous once or twice (the auto-cannibalism... gag). While not for the squeamish, its lavish visuals, tense pacing, beautifully grotesque worldbuilding, and general WTFness really gets under your skin and squirms around. And

How quickly we’ve drifted back to the abusively stupid TWD. Tobin-zombie and his BIG BOSS level stealth kills was bad enough, but the zombie literally falling down a flight of stairs two feet from someone’s head?! Did everyone in Hilltop down a case of NyQuil after the battle? And no guards. Anywhere. Really? ‘Cause

Bubba Ho-tep is an underappreciated masterpiece of Campbell camp! I actually have the jumpsuit DVD of it XD

One counter-intuitive practice method for QuickP and Competitive I’ve found is playing Deathmatch. Few things will teach you how to survive the battlefield faster, as well as how to push your chosen character to the limits. I’ve found it particularly helpful with D.Va and Moira.

    Damned flying hippies!

I, for one, welcome the Rodent Revolution!

Uuuuhm, should I feel bad that this is a perfect representation of how I play D.Va?

The “Killology Research Group” will be there? The dude who once said a “perk” of killing someone in the line of duty is the hot sex afterwards. *facepalm*

    You had me at Machinarium

Parker Posey as Dr. Smith? Easily one of the most interesting and clever casting choices I’ve seen. This alone will get me to watch.
