The PBS children’s program Wishbone did an adaptation of Great Expectations that I liked. It’s a kids version of snippets of the book, but I enjoyed the episode as a kid. The ending they used kind of implied the original ending where Estella marries someone else, Pip takes care of Magwitch until he dies and Pip never

I blame all the world’s problems on New Mutants. When it’s finally released, the world will get back on track.

TikTok company created Covid-19 to destroy the great Quibi service!

And Marty doesn’t even look like Calvin Klein. He looks like his great-great grandfather Sheamus McFly.

According to The Wrap, they are airing the first season in the fall. Since Season 2 was already shot last year for a June premiere, I assume they’ll air those episodes in the spring of 2021.

I got the PS1 demo with Tony Hawk Pro Skater. You got one level, one song, but sometimes that’s all you need. “Controlling everything inside. Feeling weak I don’t feel right.”

I watched both Boy Meets World and The Simpsons as a kid.

Do you understand life!? Do you?

I still enjoy the songs, the story is eh. Idris Elba could play Zeus. This version Zeus was orange and the other gods were different colors like blue and pink. But Elba already voiced Shere Khan so I think he needs to use his Stringer Bell voice.

The book about the boy who could fly is actually a decent story, but not written to be scary. More like Twilight Zone, where not all of them are “scary”, but interesting. I think the Cuckoo Clock story fits there. It was adapted into a Goosebumps episode that was fine for Saturday morning.

The original books were pretty crappy though, most of the time not scary. I think the funnest aspect of Goosebumps is the blog reviewing each book. The pilot movie with the mask did have some decent scares for a kids horror.

RIP

Season 7 episode Shattered should be on. I found that to be a fun episode.

Now playing

Great list, but they could have chosen 15 different episodes and it would still be a great list. Just to single one out, what makes Rapture’s Delight so great for me is how fun their post-apocalyptic world they built. My favorite is mentioning theBattle of Boca Raton” and how straight a reading it is. But my biggest

I’ve always found this a good movie to watch when I see it on TV, but not necessarily search for it. It was described by critics at the time as a hagiography and it is, but still a crowd-pleaser. At least until the ending, then everyone is sad.

The story of Quibi will be far more interesting than anything they’ve produced. The article from like NYT or Vox, the HBO documentary and finally the feature film based on the article.

I was pleasantly entertained by The Librarian movies. The one with Gabrielle Anwar was the best of them and looked to be shot on location in Africa. The last one has Stana Katic as a vampire.
