I watched Hellboy (2019). It was ok. I never read the comic, just know that it exists, and might have watched the first Del Toro Hellboy once. I feel if the 2019 version was terrible it would be a much more fun watch. Otherwise, it felt like a mediocre, forgettable CGI actioner.

I agree about Fresh off the Boat. They found the right formula in Season 2 where Eddie hanged out more with his friends and Jessica was with Honey.

Michael Scott: No, this is not a joke. OK? That was offensive and lame. So double offensive. This is an environment of welcoming and you should just get the hell out of here.

The Corner is really good too. Only mentioned briefly.

For what it’s worth, Jimmy’s mom died several years before and it doesn’t look like she remarried so that story doesn’t sound true. I don’t really see Kim cheating. It’s kind of a lame drama development that isn’t in the BB/BCS style.

“The bank manager couldn’t explain where all the extra fees are going. So I followed the money trail. The evidence was as clear as day. My bank was funding terrorism.”

It just doesn’t matter. It just doesn’t matter. It just doesn’t matter.

RIP

The plot of Coward of the County song was also adapted as a tv movie starring Kenny Rogers.

I never watched ET when I was a kid, I did when I was older and I never got into it. It’s a not a criticism of the movie at all really, but I just never felt anything for it. Which is weird because a bunch of movies of that time of kids growing up that I like except the big one.

But is it a kissing book?

Everyone should watch One Cut of the Dead.

I’m actually mostly vegan. I say mostly because I eat half a chicken breast for dinner. Other than that my diet is basically just tofu, fresh vegetables like carrot, broccoli, cauliflower, beans and quinoa.

I make hash browns every morning for breakfast. I boil the potato where it’s soft, but not mushy. Let it cool overnight in the fridge and then I use a grater. I use a paper towel to squeeze the water out.

Isn’t that Westworld with the Confederados?

In the future, there will be dark, creepy clubs. Or at least dark creepy art galleries. I’d love a version of the future depicting something like a live action Futurama. That future is kinda grimy too, but at least there’s Blernsball.

Root and the Machine I think could take on Dolores.

What figure?

Magnus Robot Fighter should be done tongue-in-cheek style like Flash Gordon (1980). But it wouldn’t have been part of the proposed Valiant shared universe since the rights were only licensed by Valiant.
