I have similar thoughts on the first half, it was kind of a weird sci-fi at that point. When they get to the Negative Zone and get their powers, it gets not just bad, but unwatchable.

I like it, but the mixed reactions is probably correct. It can give you really great scenes, but also move at a snails pace. It might be best to watch several eps in a row to get the full effect, but its really hard to at times to sit with it. Overall, for me it was worth watching and I’m not even a Nicolas Refn fan.
