I believe the occult was a big thing in 30's Los Angeles as well. I have to imagine the rocket engineer and occultist Jack Parsons will either be an influence or even a character on this show. The Strange Angel show is based on the biography of Parsons.

He is also the write of the comic series the Netflix show is based on too.

I like this news. It’s pretty unlikely this won’t be ordered to series.

I really liked the Barbara scenes this episode. Larry has been an affable character this season, especially when Darlene called out the Director’s racism and he sides up next to her to go “yeah”, but he’s got a very recent past of being a piece of shit. I hope they send Barbara to Dorothy.

The question is dumb for any number of reasons, not least of all because it requires us to believe that in all the brutal beatings he’s delivered as Daredevil, Matt has never accidentally killed someone.

I also share the same feelings toward onions. I hate them and when I’m asked why I always say it disturbs me. They just think its funny, but if bite into it by mistake I cringe and gag. But I cook with onion, big bits and then I take it out.

To be fair, Green and McBride did not write Pineapple Express. Halloween is his biggest success as a feature film producer and screenwriter. He doesn’t mean to undercut Eastbound & Down, but that was a cult hit. Halloween made a lot of money from a wide audience and likely gets more of his projects looked at by major

The TV Show started on ABC, but only lasted one season there. Then UPN picked it up and it remained there for the next two seasons.

Beth Broderick has a sexy voice, at least to me she does.

She was okay, but I’m more of a Zelda guy.

I’m into it. I’m not surprised AV Club isn’t covering it because they’re not covering anything. i09 is disappointing since so much of their coverage is superhero property centric.

Yeah, that was definitely the strategy of the fight. Matt’s a brawler who fights close because he has a strong chin and can take a punch. I was watching and thinking of it like a match; he’s gotta get in tight to counter Dex’s range.

Dex should have told Julie he knew all that from her instagram.

Yeah, it’s a weird position to take. It’s not been trying to be subtle in how we’re supposed to feel. We should feel scared for her. Every scene with him is tense and he’s ready to snap.

It seems like there was some foreshadowing about agents in debt being susceptible to recruitment by criminal organizations, but that seems like a non-factor for Nadeem. It seemed telegraphed, but the way it’s gone doesn’t feel like it was a red herring either. Instead, it seems like Dex is going to be the one end up

They’ve reached their last resort.

Let’s twist again like we did last summer.

Low key buff Chidi could beat anyone up.

Pretty sad to see a NYPD Blue as toothless as every other ABC drama.

*sigh* No Better Call Saul for a year.
