It would have been great for Salty the Sack to make a return to rip on the ladies because he got fired. Chavo’s role definitely would have been Tyrus, but it was a great spot for Chavo to get a cameo for all the work he’s put as trainer.

Mannequin. Now I get it!

The show had me confused on what to feel with Sam and Ruth with Ruth’s “hot and cold” line. I doubt it’s the end of it if there’s a third season.

I think it would have been funny if it was a completely different girl as Savannah Rose though.

GLOW isn’t a show. It’s people who’d sit out in the waiting area all night and wait their turn to entertain you while you wait to get x-rays.

Rhonda: I’m speak-singing. Like Rex Harrison in My Fair Lady.

The split screen with Zoya and Olga was great. I think Sheila with the Goat was my favorite of the skits though.

Sheila: Why is this taking so long!? My friend is in pain. Do you hear me? My friend is in pain?

I refer more to the character than the agreed terrible Terry Bollea.

I was already thinking Debbie was actively sabotaging Ruth’s personal life, but the end here confirmed it for me. Mark and Ruth have moved on from a devastating event while Debbie still feels it all. I think everything crashing together with Mark, Ruth, getting coked up, adrenaline from the crowd.

I loved when Tammé jokingly asked if that statue was of Mr. Stanford, Mrs. Stanford and Stanford Jr., thinking she was just being silly and then being slightly disappointed that she guessed right.

Ruth Gordon died so we can go on this date.

GLOW ended around 1990 I think and there was a few years where WWF did have women matches, but once Medusa left for WCW with the belt, they killed it. So in that brief period, I think Carmen is the most likely with her family connections. Probably Tammeé as well due to her unique look, though she probably would have

I thought Shitpope’s music was too clean and polished. It really should have sounded like garbage.

Once I saw the title I knew Reggie was going to get fired. Or at least something would happen. Then she said she liked how Ruth directed them and it was over.

The skits were great, some resemblance to the original GLOW. I think Fortune Cookie attacking Junkchain in the salon and the GLOW wrestlers all chasing the security guard were the most in the spirit. You just need the Good Girls and Bad Girls songs.

AV Club can’t even do a review a day now. It’s quite annoying what the powers that be (not Vince Russo, but perhaps Vince Russo) are doing everything to undo as much of the AV Club site as possible.

We’re here, we’re queer, we don’t want anymore bears!

Maybe Angela? Though I’d just get Talulah Riley.

D) The hosts could also be in the greys in Kinja.
