I like how he accuses Fred Durst of murder. An obvious slip of the tongue, but c'mon, Esquire fact checkers! (Well, I guess he did murder music…)

I'll try once more, and if we disagree, we disagree.

But what Oliver Sava thinks about Kim Chi's courage didn't matter as far as who was going to win. What mattered is what RuPaul thought about her courage. And wasn't it obvious that RuPaul wanted Kim Chi to tell her mother and was disappointed that she didn't?

I think you were watching a different show than I was, because in the show I was watching, Ru poked Kim Chi to talk to her mother and was obviously disappointed that she didn't. If anyone is a fan of faddish self-actualization, it's RuPaul.

Loved Sharon so much during her season. But when I saw the live touring show two years ago, she was terrible. She obviously didn't care about being there, and it showed. When Phi Phi blows you out of the water, you have a problem. (Was Sharon just having an off night? Dunno, it's the only time I've seen her.)

I liked Bianca on "Drag Race," but that standup special last week was hacky and just plain bad ("Oh, look, I just trotted out an old stereotype without bothering to write an actual joke. Isn't that funny?"). Turned it off after 15 minutes.

I actually stopped listening to RuPaul's podcast because I thought he kind of came off like an asshole, and I didn't want to stop enjoying "Drag Race" because I liked him less. Also, I stopped reading/listening to interviews with him because if used the "We're all living in the Matrix" line ONE MORE TIME… ugh.

Yes, this bugs me to no end. I can understand small tweaks—these are movies after all—but don't turn people into villains, for example, merely to juice the drama. That's just a really shitty thing to do.

"The boom mic makes appearances, and it doesn’t just dip into the frame; it hangs there, suspended, for minutes at a time."

I'm legitimately disappointed that "Atlas Shrugged" didn't come up.

A British TV host who interviewed Jones on air said that he cut the camera when Jones wouldn't stop ranting. But as soon as the camera was off, Jones shut up—which suggests he was just performing and not really worked up.

If you ever have the chance to see the Kneehigh Theater's theatrical adaptation, pounce. It's amazing.

I do not want to use the Googles to find out. (Still, given the state of humanity, all signs point to "Probably, yes.")

Thanks for reminding me about this.

A Talking Dildo!?!

"…and an untitled, PG-13-rated comedy (December 22)"

I'm an Optimum subscriber on Long Island. I turned on HBO this morning and found out, no, I'm not getting it, though the free weekend is supposed to start today.

"I’ve never been impressed with myself that much…."

Thanks! Don't know how I missed that.

Does anyone know when David and Amy Sedaris are going to be on?
