Can they do something about the height of headlights? I drive a Mazda5, with a reasonably high seating position. Most new pickups have their headlights at or above my eye level. As soon as the owner feels a need to further compensate and adds any kind of lift, then even the fog lights are right in my eyes.

An even more simple fix: have exterior lights hot with key on/in/present (depending on the car’s fanciness). Literally the first thing taught in a defensive driving course is to turn your lights on regardless of the time of day, so just make them always on.

My estranged wife had a 2013 Mazda 3. When we lived in a city, she would often start driving at night without turning her lights on. That car had an illuminated gauge cluster, but did NOT have DRL’s.
