I don't think that it is very accurate or fair to suggest that there is not a big enough improvement. Quite alot that has changed, been improved or added.

What is different? If you watched any of the trailers you would have seen a billion things that were different. Just because a sequel to a game has the same core mechanics as its predecessor doesn't mean it is "more of the same"
