Also if you screw up your run, you don't need to back up a ton just to get the speed and flow going for it all again. Some of those early Sonics if you messed up a jump and ended up on a lower platform there was no direct way forward until you went back to where you were supposed to be

Even still I would say give Takenoko a shot sometime. Its a great palate cleanser after something like Dead of Winter and it goes quick enough you can get to something else still
Takenoko is really fun as a simple-r kind of game, so of course it looks like its already sold out
