SIGH......I hate when I get in on the tail end of a good thing.
SIGH......I hate when I get in on the tail end of a good thing.
“What happened during the war of the owners of these vehicles?”
I don’t get how I’m supposed to tell the difference between one group of people shouting in the streets and yelling obcenities and the other.
You are right wwaxwork. You sure cuck’d me.
Saw the trailer for this a few weeks ago when my wife and I went to see Dr Strange. For about the minute or so I was thinking it was a remake of “The Breakfast Club” then it hit me: OMG this is the new Power Rangers. And I was out.
But that was also at a time when the public supported what those businesses were doing. I don’t believe that would happen today. I believe people would avoid those businesses because they know it’s the right thing to do, not because they’re afraid or ashamed. What’s that saying....something like it matters more how…
Oh, that’s right, you said the primaries. Those are diehards.
The did? I had no idea. And I never said it was “right” I was just saying that I didn’t agree with the shaming process of running someone out of busineness. I felt like there were more subtle ways that were just as powerful and used the free market instead of bully tactics.
Understood.
LOL, that seems like a bit much. Even Nick Denton didn’t do that and he ruined the livelyhood of a few hundred people that trusted him.
I agree wholeheartedly with your comment. And I feel your frustration at trying to communicate with conservatives AND liberals. I once got into a shouting match with a co-worker over the Iraq war where he was standing in my face, pointing his finger and shouting about his patriotism.
“those kinds of people”
Valid points, but what about the Deadspin guys that posted their votes on here and specifically said “I held my nose and voted for Hillary”. What does that say about them?
And I hope the Right can reach a hand across the aisle and try to understand their point of view.
Yes, it is a very slippery slope indeed. Then we can’t have religious freedom, can we? Which really, I’m fine with as well. I’m really OK with anything that we apply consistently. If everyone, every two weeks, gets a kick in the butt with their paycheck, I’m fine with that as long as it’s EVERYONE. But as soon as we…
Really? There have been marches all over the country? Wasn’t it Seattle or Oregon somewhere where they were breaking windows in businesses and burning cars?
We assume they’re Trump voters. They could also be angry Hillary voters trying to discredit Trump voters. All we know is SOMEONE painted them to get people riled up.
Just to clarify something: In my statements, I’m trying to see things from their “low information voter” perspective. I have made EVERY EFFORT to see things from a variety of viewpoints. I understand that everything isn’t black and white, that there are shades of grey. I live in shades of grey and that’s why it’s so…
I agree. Unfortunately, on this very website and most places on the Internet, everyone has ended up in areas where they agree with each other and opposing viewpoints are hidden/dismissed/ridiculed.
Oh, no, I absolutely agree there were racists. A TON of them. But I also think that with any of these.....I don’t know what to call them “diseases” or “malformations in the brain”....I think that there should be some effort to figure out why they are that way and make some effort to fix it. And if we can’t fix it, let…
