Piffff. webcam. I want to know when she is getting that sweet plasma defense cannon.

A similar non-nuke version of this was shown around a bit during the 90's wasn't it? I seem to remember the citizens of Pensacola being notified of some big boomers going on back for the MOAB testing.

One of my worries though, is with all that type extra stuff in it, what happens when one of those nifty features breaks? The repair costs on a TV are crazy unbalanced these days (repair vs new cost). If the BluRay breaks, but every thing else is ok, do you pay the crazy high price to have it fixed? Do you limp

Perhaps "outdated" is not the right term I should have used so much as "choice". Let's say I bought a 37" LCD and use a Roku box with it. 366 days later when the warranty runs out on that TV, I can choose to purchase a new relatively-inexpensive TV rather than spend an unreasonable amount trying to get it repaired.

Nope. I dropped them due to the "oh, it's less than a latte-price increase" and the company splitting insanity that followed. The company has lost its compass. They are not in sync with the majority of their customers. Indie films are fine for some people, but his flippant answer (if it really was his answer, there

I agree. I do not want a "integrated experience". I think it will become outdated way too quick. I much prefer the idea of a small, simple, and INEXPENSIVE box sitting behind the TV (or similar out of the way location) that I can use and then chunk when it gets outdated (which can be rather quickly).

From the NYT:

"Dack"? as in "deck"?

Hmmm, and I bet every last one of those has been passed around a little specialty resort area in Cuba.

Same here. Slow as dirt. gumblegrumblegrumble

I had hoped it was fix the TextEdit issue where it continues to show your previous document even though I have changed all the settings for it NOT to show. Other applications conform and do not show the previous texts, but TextEdit stubbornly holds on to it.

C-Spire was known as Cellular South up until about two weeks ago. They typically have much better coverage in rural areas around the southeast as opposed to the big carriers that focus on population centers. They have really pushed their version of unlimited data they like to call "Infinite Data", but I am guessing

Cellular Sou... uh.. "C-Spire" has spent tons of dough on marketing around the southeast in an attempt to bolster their image as an up to date modern cellular carrier instead of the one for grandmas and government workers. Adding the iPhone to their stable will help with that push.

A little late to the party as far as I am concerned. The smaller devs have had this handled better for a couple of years now.

If you are (was?) a Diablo fan, then I would suggest Dungeon Hunter 2 (or the HD version if you have an iPad). Great hack and slash for wasting some time while waiting somewhere.

Niiiiiice!

First time I have ever seen "the Big Guy" from Sanctuary officially called Bigfoot. I had thought there were just leaving it up in the air about his actual name/species. Had it actually been mentioned before?

Sounds like they are collaborating with the RIAA dinosaur think tank...

Damnnnnnn. Yep, I guess it is as weird as I thought it would be.

Being an English speaker, I have always wondered what English sounds like to a non-English speaker. I can know what it sounds like to hear other foreign languages, but will not be able to know how English sounds (unless I have some weird brain injury or something).
