Cable was one of my favorites. I hated to see the downward spiral they put him on in the late 90's. Too damn complex and just watered him down too much.
I don't think it lends to a "they won" mindset anymore than building earthquake resistant structures in CA, hurricane resistant structures on the Gulf, or adding safety spirals to football stadiums rather than stairs. It just shows, "hey, here is a way we can do something that would limit the possibility of X…
If they go for this, I worry they will bundle into Amazon Prime and jack up its price (once again... "Netflix"). Or maybe they will keep a splinter version that offers JUST the free shipping route like with the old Amazon Prime.
I wish that instead of the Romania shoots turning out to be the batcave, it was really shooting for a Lazarus Pit...
Yep. Lies or at the very least withholds the full truth.
1. it should have only been 5-6 episodes. It was too drawn out.
Two cyber-zombies that just refuse to damn die already. I half-expect Microsoft to come back with a lowball offer just for giggles and spite.
good job twitter. glad at least one of the big three has some sense about this whole mess.
If Amazon bought WebOS, I could see them getting to the point where they GIVE away a WebOS tablet (maybe completely free, maybe only with an Amazon Prime subscription) just to get a mechanism in people's hands to purchase Amazon content.
Sounds like a lot of items that will work great... for the first 6 months or so until those fancier sensors and dimmers start to fail.
Their site ( [screenyapp.com] ) says "Free Today Only".
Damn. We gotta keep that tin can flying up there; otherwise we would miss great shots like that. And the micro-g cockroach experimentation. I prefer the great pics, but to each his own I suppose.
Sweeeeet. Some nerd rage justice AND some Planet Hulk art to go along with it!
Holy hell... someone remembered M.A.S.K AND Mighty Orbots?!? Kickass.
That could be the real reason Steve stepped down. He needs more time to scour the hidden parts of the globe for cryptids capable of the logistical skills and efficiency of an Oompa-Loompa paried with the quiet resolve of an Ood. Of course, from what I hear, they are unionized now, so that might cause some delays.
A strategically placed STFU also tends to help, unfortunately there are sometimes side-effects. aarggh.
Cancelled. Period. If I get too terribly bored over the crappy Thanksgiving to New Years Day desert of TV programming, I will pay them for a month, then cancel again.
The Hollywood sharks smell blood in the water. They are not absolutely sure where yet, but they are more than willing to lash and bite at anything they think is moving upward. Netflix just had a small taste of more things to come...
Interesting timing for sure. Netflix is going to have to dig deep into the magic bag to come up with something after this.
