As soon as I read Myles wondering if something or someone was out in the corn I couldn't wait to post: It's obviously the chicken! This is the first comment at this moment and now I want to go through the 353 other comments and see how many people fingered the chicken (ok, that did not sound right at all!).

Everyone's watching at a different pace. I didn't start reading the reviews until I was about 5 episodes in, but I went back and read all of the previous reviews and it was worth it. I didn't really start commenting until I was caught up on the reviews and then started watching an episode, reading the review,

Yeah, this flashback was the most unsatisfying for not explaining what the subject's crime actually was. I really care about Blanca now and want more information and while the flashback was very good in what it showed, it ended up feeling like only half the story - as if the film burned up halfway through watching

The show became "obvious" about it in it's 5th year. The very first book of the series all but spells it out in every Ned POV chapter.

@JFC, "trading one sibling being married to the monarch for another is a pretty fair trade for the Tyrells…." But Margaery was already married to the monarch! The family already played the marriage card (twice) to ally with the Lannisters. So again, unless and until Dany dethroned Margaery and killed either her or

I guess my issue is wondering how Tyrion is playing the game of thrones in Westeros after being away for so long and up until "yesterday" dealing with Mereen. Clearly Varys had contacts that were keeping him up to date on the goings-on in Westeros before he left for Dorne (since he knew, at the very least, that the

You mean Loras after Dany dethrones Margaery? Because as far as Tyrion knows, Margaery is still the queen, and while that was the case, the Tyrells wouldn't be able to ally with Dany against the Baratheon-Lannisters. It would still be a hard sell if Dany had taken King's Landing atop her dragon and killed or

Right, but there is no way Tyrion could already know about Jon leaving the Night's Watch, much less winning back Winterfell from the Boltons. I don't think, anyway. It was awfully strange how quickly the Queen of Thorns both knew about the death of her entire family AND made it all the way to the capitol of Dorne. So

Well, Qyburn is to Cersei's Mad Queen what Rosset, the Pyromancer, was to Aerys the Mad King.

Well, he also made an abusive father "disappear", so I think he's going a bit further than offering candy in return for murder.

Is "suck a fave" a phrase I've never heard or is it a typo?

I just realized that Dany left Daario in Mereen in order to be free to marry a lord in Westeros, but we're running really low on powerful lords in Westeros. Ostensibly there is Littlfinger, who is obsessed with Sansa and who Varys would never let Dany marry and whose hold on the Vale is tenuous at best and who just

We've let Myles know that he wrote Rhaegar instead of Robert in the review, yes? Rhaegar wouldn't want to kill his son, Robert would. I'm sure it's a typo.

Plus she has 3 dragons. If she only had riders she would have the same weapons that Aegon the Conqueror had to take everything but Dorne. I think she definitely has enough to be on her way.

@cabspaintedyellow:disqus, I agree that it was a guilty pleasure watching Cersei with Septon Unella. It stopped being pleasant when it became clear that she was going to "belong" to Ser Gregor, rapist of Elia Martell and who knows how many others.

Well, that's assuming Arya hasn't let him out. It would be a little odd for her to leave her uncle down there, unless he refused to be saved. Which he might have as he's a pretty big coward. He might not want to be associated with the killing of the Freys.

I figured it was pretty difficult to avoid R+L=J, unless one never read anything online about GoT, but I'm still curious. Clearly, anyone posting to AV Club has been reading online about GoT, so probably not the best place to conduct a poll!

God, how many people have jumped out of windows in the books and histories at this point? Yet the only case of defenestration I can think of is Jaimie and Bran, and Bran didn't even die. (Yeah, I just wanted to use the word "defenestration".)

As a reader, I'd like to take a moment to revel in the magnificence that was the library at the Citadel.
As a woman, I'll take another moment to say fuck you, Maesters!

I've always wondered what the Starks say during winter. Now I guess I know, but having your house words be "Winter is Here" is kind of stating the obvious, potentially for years and years.
