Yeah, but did you remember the birfucated penis's name? I didn't.

The reviewer's criticism of Sarah's hallucination of Beth was unduly
harsh (as was, frankly, most of the review). While it may not be common
for people to hallucinate after pounding shots, snorting coke, and then
taking a mystery pill ("to bring you down a little"), many, many tv
series and movies have shown that…
And don't forget Person of Interest, which they are airing at a rate of 2-3 episode per week! (I love it, but I'm going to be so sad when it's over. It's like eating your entire box of expensive chocolates in 3 days.)
You mean the era when they took the premises from earlier shows starring women (Buffy, Charmed), but put men in the roles?
A Fuchsbaden baby?
All of the Bitsie Tulloch hate is pretty unfair. The writers messed up that character from the beginning, especially with the loooong amount of time that they kept Juliette in the dark about what was going on. I think Tulloch did a very good job during Juliette's transition into an evil hexenbiest. In fact, I think…
Yes, but they didn't mention H.G. Wells. So Dr. Moreau, The Invisible Man, and the Time Traveler are still potential characters.
Sembene was the least serviced character on the show. It was insulting and frustrating that he barely got a backstory, much less a present story - and then was sacrificed for the continued existence of the white characters. Maybe that was the point, but if so it was too subtle.
It seems like having Dr. Jekyll be…
Not just her body, her mind, as well. I mean, that's what he wants from Jekyll - to control Lily's mind so he has everything: her will, her body, and her "love". However, she isn't telepathic so she doesn't know about his plans to whisk her off to the basements of Bedlam. I'd like to see him try… and fail.
Seriously, one wonders what fictional characters do exist in a world where Dracula, The Wolfman, Dr.Jekyll, and Frankenstein are real people? Do they only have Jules Verne (and is it because he's French)? I know some people here hope to see Holmes and Watson consulted about… something. How about H.G. Wells? If the…
As a suburban American teen hipppie who hung out with the (poseur) punks, I was always torn between Neal and Vyvyan (those studs in his forehead!), though now that I'm old enough to understand what he was going on about, I might have to go with Rick.
I didn't notice any sfx issues, but the vampires creeping in like rats around the terrified Redfield was some of the best choreography I've seen on a tv series.
@MylesMcNutt, "What would qualify as "doing justice" to the Iron
Islands?" After all of the excitement in these reviews since the word,
"Kingsmoot" was first uttered, do you really that scene did it justice?
1) Having a better setting than the top of a random hill.

Soon after I posted the above, the reviewer, Myle McNutt (who I have the highest respect for) posted ia reply to my comment. His reply got 5 upvotes and effectively nullified my original comment. This morning, I found his reply when checking my notifications, and wrote an answer to the question he posed. I hit send…

"White Walkers can only be killed by obsidian weapons (Sam/Meera) or Valyrian steel (Jon)." Well, as far as we know up to this point. I wouldn't bet against a dragon (or 3) in a fight against the Whitewalkers.
You and I posted almost exactly at the same time! Good morning to you - you just beat me to it! :)
Nope, Benjen disappeared from the Watch pretty recently - he was in the first episodes visiting Winterfell, remember? The Whitewalkers are the ancient (though no as ancient as The Children, apparently) enemy that the wall was built to defend against.
If they don't have the time to tell stories like Dorne and the Iron Islands (this season's Dorne) and do them justice, they should have just left them out. What a waste!
