Gotcha. But well, at least this show is fast paced. On María La Del Barrio, she gave away her son and he was away for 16 years (about 4 long months of TV time); whereas in Luz María, her daughter (and husband!) were kidnapped and kept away from her for 8 years (and half the telenovela, which was also like 60 episodes).

Thank you for that link, I love you very much.

So at the end what happened to Andie? Was it like a throwaway plot? *yes*

WHY DID IT TAKE YOU SO LONG? I WAS SO SCARED!

Watch it. Give it a try, just the first episode. It WILL be your kind of show.

Me too. Some of us are just catching up on The Good Wife. It also annoyed me, BTW.

I don't consider Brett do be a bad actor, but maybe I'm biased because I really really like him (at least what he shares on social media) and I like his character better.

Yeah, right? I also feel those moments of high intensity are lost because Baldoni plays them like a Ken doll.

Just so you know, I read this.

HE IS JUST HOT AND THAT'S ALL. Sometimes he has romantic gestures and all, but it's too Prince Charming for me.

I DIDN'T NOTICE THAT, I LOVE YOU.

You both are totally right. I haven't thought of that. A LOT has happened to Rafael and the show barely explores it.

“Telenovela upbringing” sounds so sad. I was raised by telenovelas too. How can I forget “Luz María” and when the protagonist got the guy, the villain died and Luz María had a daughter; her husband had an accident, lost his memory and the villain friend made him and their daughter to think they were hers, ran away and

My favorite line was when Michael and Rogelio were talking at the party: “no need to go that far back”.

I understand some people are jumping just now on the series but, c'mon, don't spell everything for them, there is just no way to summarize the whole plot every damn time, you narrator.

To me, Rafael is the perfect guy on paper. Is the guy you see on Instagram and “fall in love” with whereas Michael is the guy you meet at a wedding and “fall in love” with (to keep the romcom idea going).

#TeamMichael all the way. You're right. What I like the most about their scenes is how quotidian they are. Someone said they were boring, but I beg to differ. We are so used that romcoms are so over the top: big gestures, big fights, drama, larger than life promises (pretty much Jane and Rafael's relationship) that we

Hahahahaha, it's the most perfect comparison I've read in months :')

Is it like Tina Fey?
